Make Project Relative Ref

Category: Pr Project Make Project Relative Ref block screenshot

Removes only the project name, GUID, and runtime-binding prefix through the Premiere reference parser. An already project-relative ref is returned unchanged after parse/serialize validation. Preserves typed selectors, escaping, and duplicate indices. Rejects active-relative refs such as `::SEQ\ACTIVE`.

Notes

  • Parses an explicit Premiere object ref and removes only its project name/GUID/runtime-binding prefix.
  • Returns an already project-relative ref unchanged after parse/serialize validation, so conversion is idempotent.
  • Preserves typed selectors, escaping, and duplicate indices.
  • Rejects ::SEQ\ACTIVE and other active-relative references.
  • Use the result for persisted template-local locators; do not manipulate Premiere refs with filesystem path blocks.
