Random Text
iExpressions contains various different Random Text iExpressions.
These iExpression replace the source text of a text layer by a randomly generated text block of a given number of rows and columns (or a single line for the expressions without the word 'Block' in their name). Different kinds of text can be generated, e.g. binary numbers, numbers, or random strings using the letters of the alphabet.
Variants
Random Text Block Mutating
This random text mutates over time, i.e. individual letters change spontaneously from time to time. The created animations are loopable, i.e. after a given number of frames, the text is again the same as it was at the first frame.
Random Text Block Shifting
The Random Text Block Shifting allows to scroll though the text from left to right, up, down or in any other direction.
Random Text Block Simple
The Random Text Block Simple replaces all letters at once every few frames (as specified in the speed parameter). If you set the speed to zero, it does not change at all. It computes faster than the other text blocks, so best use this variant if you don't need the text to change over time.
Single Line Variants
For each Random Text Block expression there also exists a corresponding expression without Block in the name. If you just need a single line of text best use these single line variants, to get optimal performance.
